The paint companies have spoken for 2027, and most of them chose green. Dulux named Soulful Sage, a soft, silvery grey-green, as its Colour of the Year. Benjamin Moore picked Webster Green, a deeper shade somewhere between emerald and evergreen. Sherwin-Williams went for Celery, a herbal green with a warm yellow undertone. Outside the greens, Valspar chose a powder blue called Cottage Door and Graham & Brown chose Rose Earth, a dusty pink with a hint of terracotta.
The common thread is colour drawn from nature, calm rather than loud. A month of evenings indoors is a good reason to repaint, but winter light changes how every colour looks. These steps help you choose a shade you will still like in March.
