Christa Jan Ryan is an American memoir author, television producer and host who has worked for more than forty-five years as a landscape designer across the Hamptons and Southern Vermont. Her latest book, The Compliant Cowgirl: A Cautionary Story, is a memoir about codependency set in 1970s Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with practical steps toward recovery at the end of each chapter. She is also the author of the memoir Silent Screams from the Hamptons and a short book on the loss of a child, From the Depths of a Woman's Soul.
