FIT4MOM Turns 25 and Adds Midlife Strength and Perimenopause Programs
The mom-fitness franchise founded by Lisa Druxman in a San Diego park is relaunching Core and Restore in two phases, adding Body Strong for progressive strength training, and introducing Stronger Every Season, a 60-day online perimenopause program.

Twenty-five years ago, Lisa Druxman was a new mom in San Diego who wanted to move her body and meet other mothers. She could not find a class that fit her life, so she organized a workout in a local park. That group became Stroller Strides. Stroller Strides became FIT4MOM, now the country's largest fitness and wellness community built specifically for moms, operating in more than 200 markets across 40 states and counting nearly 420,000 members served.
The 25th anniversary marks a pivot from postpartum fitness toward midlife wellness, expanding who FIT4MOM is built to serve. FIT4MOM is spending its 25th year adding programs that serve the mom who already graduated from the stroller stage, the one who may be juggling teenagers, a demanding job, and a body in perimenopause, and who finds a standard gym either unwelcoming or beside the point. Two new programs, Body Strong and Stronger Every Season, sit alongside a restructured Core and Restore offering to fill the gap between early postpartum classes and wherever moms find themselves a decade or two later.
The community piece, it turns out, is not incidental. A 2025 member survey found that 86 percent of FIT4MOM members say connection with other moms is their primary reason for staying, not the workout itself. That finding shapes the organization's entire program strategy.
